Rotasept® is a ready-to-use solution for the disinfection and cleaning of rotary instruments (dental burs, etc.). It is aldehyde-free and provides very good corrosion protection for the instruments being disinfected.
Do not add synthetic materials sensitive to alkalis and alcohol, aluminum parts, or instruments treated with artificial resin adhesives to the Rotasept® solution.
Areas of use:
- in dental offices:
- all rotary dental instruments
Rotasept® is effective against the following microorganisms:
- bacteria, including TB;
- fungi;
- hepatitis B and C viruses;
- HIV;
- Polio viruses;
- Adenoviruses;

Usage:
The solution is ready to use, so there is no need to dilute it with water. Each small rotary instrument must be immediately placed in the Rotasept® solution after use to prevent dirt from drying out. Cleaning and disinfection occur simultaneously. To prevent rust, do not rinse the instruments with water after disinfection. Remove stubborn dirt with a brush and disinfect again. The exposure time is only 30 minutes.
Composition:
100g of Rotasept® liquid contains 1.6 g of potassium hydroxide, 10.0 g of 2-propanol, 0.1 g of 2-ethylhexanol.
